The free IT initiative of Telerik School Academy for children from 1st to 12th grade has been opened for applications for the school year 2020-2021. Students will study programming and digital sciences in 110 schools in 33 cities in Bulgaria.

The application process is open until October 11 through the website of the Telerik School Academy. The trainings start in November and will be held until July 2021, and their format (online or in person) will be in accordance with the recommendations of the health authorities.

A programming workshop in Sofia in partnership with CoderDojo Bulgaria is planned for students in grades 1-3. During the event, the youngest students learn to create interactive games and applications under the mentorship of experienced volunteers.

The trainings for 8-12 grades have a practical orientation and a modern program and can be a guide for the career orientation of the students.
