At the end of March 2022, in the city of Sandanski, a working meeting was held between representatives of the municipalities from the cross-border region Republic of Bulgaria – Republic of North Macedonia.

The project “Young people – the new promoters of the cultural identity of the cross-border region” was presented as a good practice and successful project from the programming period 2014-2020 by the Ministry of Regional Development and public works of Bulgaria.

The established network between the organizations as a result of the project contributes to the development of culture and general improvement of the cooperation between stakeholders in several areas (culture, tourism) of the two countries.
